Rakesh says about the surname Wazir There are definitely Wazir's that are Kashmiri. The previous poster did not read the instructions on this site. If any Kashmiri has a Wazir surname (which they do), it is ok. It does not mean that Wazir's are only found in Kashmir.

Sumeer Kaul Adalati says about the surname Adalati I agree the surname is from kashmir. But the word is in arabic also.And the surname Adalati or some write adalti , i think is one and the same.I too am from adalati tree, originally we are from Batyar, Aali kadal(interior of city Srinagar. So soMe of write as Adalati and some write as Adalti.
