I agree the surname is from kashmir. But the word is in arabic also.And the surname Adalati or some write adalti , i think is one and the same.I too am from adalati tree, originally we are from Batyar, Aali kadal(interior of city Srinagar. So soMe of write as Adalati and some write as Adalti.
