Gautam says about the surname atri
I am not an a Kashmiri and my knowledge of Kashmiri cultrue is very limited. I only read about Kashmir through the Mahabaharatha and ofcourse the modern media where Kashmir is in the news all the time.
But I am just giving what little knowledge I have about the name Attri.Attri is commonly mentioned in the Rig Veda. In fact one whole book or Mandala(the sixth) of hymns or Suktas are attributed to the Rishis from the house of Attris.

Rakesh Beera says about the surname beera
BEERA'S is not a surname but a knick name which means a wooden ball which was used in kashmir to play with. Actual Surname of Beera's is Kauls. Beera's were only in Rainawari Srinagar, but with the passage of time most of them switched over to kaul'again . There is only one family which still keep there identity intact.

Ashwani Kaul says about the surname Wali
To the anonymous poster before me -
If you would have read what the main page said -
"This field being Yes does NOT imply that all Raina's are Kashmiri, it just says that some Raina's are Kashmiri"
Similarly - Not all Wali's are Kashmiri, but some Wali's are kashmiri.
