ROMESH KHOSA says I am khosa by surname.we belong to SAMNEGOTAM gotra.khosa bascally belong to kashmir.IN kashmiri it is nickname given to a person who does not have facial hair[beard].some people say that our orginal surname is RAINA/RAZDAN.WE were about 200 families spread across valley before mass migration due to militancy in 1990.

says Khosa as a surname can be found in Pakistan as well as Punjab.There are also South Africans with similar surnames: Xhosa/Khosa. The meanings might be different.
