Snehan says There are two Peshin origins in Kashmir. One who Came from Afghanistan Prehistorically to Srinagar. Second a pandit family of Srinagar ( Soap Manufacturing Business ) with surname " Pandit " shifted to Tikker, Kupwara and settled there in 1700's and Changed their surname to Peshin in later generation. ( unknown reasons )
